Please join us on Saturday August 5th from 4 PM to 7 PM to celebrate the opening of GG Stankiewicz’s solo show “Land, Water, Sky Continuum” at Birdsong Farm.
GG Stankiewicz is a media artist currently working in printmaking, paper-making and painting. She grew up in Rhode Island and moved to New York City to pursue her art career. GG graduated from the School of the Museum of Fine Arts at Tufts University in Boston, MA where she earned a combined degree, a Bachelor of Fine Arts and Bachelor of Science in Art Education. She completed her MFA at the Rhode Island School of Design. GG served as a high school art teacher for the New York City Department of Education. She has co-founded artist-run organizations: SONYA (South Of the Navy Yard Artists, Brooklyn, NY) and WBA (West Branch Artists, Walton, NY) and has served on their events committees, assisting in all phases of
planning and organizing community art walks and art exhibitions for local artists. In June 2022, GG established her art studio in Delhi, New York and began exhibiting her work in the Catskill Region.

“Land, Water, Sky Continuum” brings together a collection of landscape-inspired works on paper that span fifteen years of GG’s art practice from the early 2000s to the present. Working on and with paper, GG takes a deep dive into the techniques of printmaking, papermaking and mixed media. Nature remains the one constant influence and the continuum in her art practice.
“Land, Water, Sky Continuum” is on view August 5th through August 27th, 2023 at Birdsong Farm.
Open to the public: Friday through Sunday from 12 PM – 3 PM and by appointment.
