A More Graceful Shaboom: Reading with Author Jacinta Bunnell [online]
Wed, Feb 17, 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm

GetWoke! presents an all-ages reading of A More Graceful Shaboom with the author Jacinta Bunnell.

This children’s book, illustrated by Crystal Vielula and written by Jacinta Bunnell, centers on a gender nonbinary protagonist named Harmon Jitney who finds their joy  and purpose in a magical satchel which leads to an extraordinary,  previously undiscovered universe. The book features LGBTQAI+ characters  seamlessly woven into a delightful, imagination-sparking story, without overtly being a lesson book about gender and sexual orientation. Follow Harmon as they unlock the key to their own inner happiness and sense of  community.
