On the Sunday Oct 12th of The Future is now X: We will be featuring a collab between Luke Dougherty (drawing), Marcus A DJ (electronic banjo & EJ) and Kimyon Huggins (DJ)
This October producer and DJ Kimyon Huggins will be presenting a Bushel-scale iteration of his Future is Now Experience, a multimedia event with DJing and live painting from a rotating group of local and visiting artists. The inaugural Future is Now Experience event happened in 2011 in Detroit. Since then, multimedia artist Kimyon Huggins has brought this multimedia live-painting and DJ event to cities across the country.
This event is open to the public; there is no ticket fee, but donations are welcome at the door. Doors open at 4pm and close at 9pm.
Kimyon Huggins, producer, DJ and former MetroPlex label director, has assembled a collective of heavy hitting DJ’s and artists who build off of each other’s artistic vibes live every Sunday straight from the Bushwick section of Brooklyn New York. Resident DJ’s include Sir Roscoe, Lost Cat and many, many more. The Bushwick art scene is exploding due to the close proximity to Williamsburg and it’s authentic gritty vibe. Under the curation of Kimyon and his team and their sponsor Hubcast you can experience the underground from live bands to Grafitti and all levels and wide range of disiplines of street art.
