poetry reading aug 23

Bushel is thrilled to host an evening of poetry with Jeffrey Joe Nelson, Tony Iantosca, and our own Anna Moschovakis on Saturday Aug 23. Please join us for a meet and greet at 5:30pm, reading at 6pm, and stick around for some possible impromptu tunes and dancing afterwards.

Jeffrey Joe Nelson was born and raised in New Jersey.  He was schooled in North Carolina, Wales, New York, Rome, Prague, Cuba, Los Angeles, New Orleans & Florida. Currently, he resides in Brooklyn where he works in the public school system & has run the Greetings Readings series (mostly at Unnameable books) since the early oughts. Ugly Duckling published his selected pomes, The Road of a Thousand Wonders. Recently, Slab Press published his, Postcards From the Hive.

Tony Iantosca is a poet and writer. Author of three books of poems, he is also Assistant Professor of English at Kingsborough Community College (CUNY). He lives in Brooklyn.

anna moschovakis works with poetry and prose as a writer, editor, translator, publisher, teacher, and designer. Her six books include An Earthquake Is a Shaking of the Surface of the Earth and They and We Will Get into Trouble for This. She has translated novels by David Diop, Annie Ernaux, Albert Cossery, and others.
