Screening: I Called Him Morgan + Listening Party

 

Join us for a listening party of vinyl records by jazz legend Lee Morgan, followed by a screening of I Called Him Morgan, the 2016 documentary directed by Kasper Collin about the brief and tragic life of jazz trumpeter Lee Morgan. Runtime 92 minutes.

Hosted by Danniel Schoonebeek. Listening party will begin at 7PM and feature vinyl records from the Lee Morgan catalog including Cornbread, The Sidewinder, Search for the New Land, The Rumproller, and more. Film screening will begin at 8PM with a brief introduction by Danniel Schoonebeek.
