Delaware County’s newly formed chapter of Showing Up for Racial Justice (SURJ) is hosting a meeting to talk about what meaningful action looks like in this political moment. As the current administration and its billionaire allies escalate attacks on working-class and marginalized communities, SURJ invites people to come together, get grounded, and build a shared understanding of how we got here—and what we can do next.
If you’ve ever gone to a protest out of anger, fear, or hope and wondered what comes after that—or if you’re part of another grassroots group and want to connect—this gathering is for you.
Registration is requested and can be completed HERE. Brunchy refreshments will be served.
Showing Up for Racial Justice (SURJ) is the largest organization in the U.S. explicitly organizing white communities for racial and economic justice—because white people have a responsibility to step up and ensure our communities take a stand.
