Chanelle Allesandre writes poetry and prose, composes atmospheric and improvised soundscapes, makes flower essences, takes 35mm film photographs, and is an occasional monitrice. She is devoted to fostering the filigree that is woven from creative collaborations and risk-taking in her artistic community. She is currently living beside the Quinnipiac river in New Haven, CT.

Connie | Vacuous scream, memory corrosion, visceral thaw. History, history, history, if i don’t kill it then it will kill me. Connie is the pet-name of Conner Calhoun. He is a multi-disciplinary artist, whose work has explored drawing, painting, sculpture, video and performance, with themes revolving around recovery, grief, mundanity, longing and desperation. He has recently reopened his explorations with sound. With percussive blasts, guttural vocals, and a trudging drone Connie drags himself as close to the edge as possible. Both ancient and familial histories are referenced throughout, as a means of tapping into his feminine ferocity. This isn’t poetic justice, it is poetic vengeance. A place where Connie bares his teeth. Conner Calhoun is the current Director of LUMP projects in Raleigh NC. Pareesa Pourian makes paintings, writes poetry, and studies herbalism. She received an MFA in Painting from Rutgers University and did her undergraduate studies in painting and philosophy at Louisiana State University. She lives in Delhi, NY.

Adrian Shirk is the author of Heaven is a Place on Earth, a personal odyssey of American utopian experiments, and And Your Daughters Shall Prophesy, a hybrid-memoir exploring American women mystics, named an NPR ‘Best Book’ of 2017. She publishes a monthly artist opportunities list called The Whole Utopianotes Catalog. She is an ensemble member of The Party Theater, an agent at Driftless Literary, and a faculty member in Pratt Institute’s Writing Department. She lives in Stamford, NY.
