The Catskills Seed Collective is an aspiring group of seed enthusiasts. We will have our first meeting on January 16, 2026 from 6-8pm. This group is open to all who are interested. No previous seed knowledge required. If you have a favorite seed, please bring it!
Our intention is to get together and discuss seeds in the Catskills. Topics like what is already being done and what we can do as growers, gardeners, and consumers for the regional future of seeds. If you’re already saving seeds, breeding, and/or adapting varieties to the Catskills we’d love to hear from you. If you’re interested in saving seeds, you’re a grower, or a gardener we would also love to hear from you! Join us this January for seed activities and conversation where we hope to form an intentional group of seed enthusiasts in the Catskills.
