Delaware County Pride hosts a night of empowerment, self-expression, and celebration at Bushel with an all-ages fashion show entitled “Joy is An Act of Resistance” featuring Trans models from our community, including you! Take to the runway in your most gender-affirming ‘fit and flaunt what you’ve got as DJ Kyky plays the soundtrack to your strut! Not ready to dominate the catwalk? Join in by bringing a pot-luck style snack to pass. Show starts at 7 and the cover charge is a donation (cash, venmo, or a snack to share) at the door. All of our community is invited to attend, and Trans and Gender Non-conforming folks are invited to sign up to model by completing this form.
After the show, stick around for a dance party with DJ Kyle on the turntables. In these times when resistance is more important than ever, join our community for a night of it, after all, Trans joy is an act of resistance!
