Sat, Aug 03, 10:00 am - 4:00 pm

OFF-SITE EVENT

Location
Catskill Visitor Center

On July 13 and August 3, watershed educator and artist Lize Mogel will host all-day bus tours that explore the landscape, history, and politics of the NYC water supply in the Catskills. On each tour, Lize will be joined by special guests including local historians, naturalists, water experts and others. Hear stories of the water system from multiple perspectives of the people who live and work in it, and manage it. The tour begins and ends at the Catskill Visitor Center in Mount Tremper. Tickets ($25) go on sale to Catskills residents on May 15th, and to the general public on May 20th. Bushel is pleased to co-sponsor this event as part of its commitment to ecology awareness. If you are interested in carpooling to Mount Tremper from Delhi, let Lize know when you sign up.   More information here.
