[Workshop] Making Pop-Ups, with Mark Allen

Bushel is thrilled to host artist Mark Allen for a one-time, hands on pop-up card making workshop from 3-5 on Saturday, July 30. Mark’s work is featured in our current exhibition, Volumes, along with work by Zachary Cummings, Jaclyn Guido, Julia Haft-Candell, Leonardo Madriz and Sahra Motalebi. The workshop will be followed by a reception at 5pm, open to all.

No experience is necessary. Limited to 20 participants; book your spot in advance to be ensured a spot.

Mark Allen is an artist, educator and curator based in Los Angeles and the founder and executive director of Machine Project. Together with Machine, Allen produced over 1500 events, workshops and installations. He is an Associate Professor of Art at Pomona College and serves on the Board of Directors of the Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts. He received his MFA in Visual Art from the California Institute of the Arts.
