Bushel Turns Ten

In the decade since its 2015 founding, Bushel has held 60 exhibitions (and hosted more than 2,000 events). We wanted to celebrate our tenth anniversary by inviting the artists who have shown at Bushel to join in a giant group show. Following the lead of our first big group exhibition —2016’s Poets Make Collage—we invited everyone to contribute a collage, with no other guidance but a necessary size constraint.
Artists who will show work — some on loan, many for sale — are below, in a list that we will continue to update as responses come in. We are so grateful to these artists and members of the Bushel community for participating in this exhibition, which will serve in part as a fundraiser for Bushel to support some much-needed improvements to our space and tech so we can keep things going as a volunteer-run, small-by-design collective for the next however many years.
Please join us at the opening reception on December 14, from 2-6pm, to view and buy collages, make your own in the collage corner, and mingle, with live music, refreshments, and a raffle.
